Ouro para Cielo

César Cielo, 21anos, conquistou o ouro nos 50 m livre em Pequim e se tornou o primeiro campeão olímpico da natação brasileira.



O campeao não conseguiu segurar as lágrimas ao conquistar o ouro.
Com a marca de 21s30, o brasileiro quebrou novamente a marca olímpica da prova e conquistou a primeira medalha de ouro para o Brasil nos Jogos Olímpicos de 2008.

Russia strikes at Georgia

A Russian warplane dropped a bomb on an apartment block in Gori on Saturday, killing at least 5 people, a Reuters reporter said. The bomb hit the five-story building close to Georgia's embattled breakaway province of South Ossetia when Russian warplanes carried out a raid against military targets around the town.

Brasil: Diego é Favorito

Bicampeão mundial no solo, Diego Hypólito entrou no Ginásio Nacional, em Pequim, vestindo o short de ginástica e o blusão da equipe brasileira.


Ótima pontuação garante Diego na final do solo na ginástica artística logo no primeiro dia de competição.
O brasileiro cumpriu o que havia anunciado no meio da semana e estreou na Olimpíada na prova do salto. O brasileiro recebeu a nota 16,100 em seu primeiro salto, e desistiu do segundo, poupando-se para a prova do solo.
