USA: Honoring the Dream

.
Today the american people celebrates the birthday of the
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
.
The civil rights leader was actually born Jan. 15, 1929.
He was assassinated April 4, 1968.
.
USA has progressed since King's eloquent
'I Have a Dream' speech at the Lincoln Memorial in August 1963.
.
Yet, even with the election of Barack Obama as the first black president, they find themselves falling short of King's vision of a land where people are judged by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin
.
So, on this King Day, don't just remember his dream. Find a way you can help it come true - not with words alone, but with actions, too.
