A equipe brasileira bateu a Itália por 5 X 3 em uma grande exibição.

Na primeira edição da Copa do Mundo de 2005/Rio de Janeiro, o Brasil acabou apenas em terceiro lugar. Nos anos seguintes, também na praia de Copacabana, a seleção brasileira confirmou o favoritismo no esporte e levou o título de campeão nas duas vezes.

Qantas 747 Lands with Gaping Hole

A Qantas jumbo jet carrying 345 passengers made an emergency landing Friday with a gaping hole in its fuselage after a mysterious "explosive decompression," officials said.

There were no injuries, but some passengers vomited after disembarking the Boeing 747-400, said Octavio Lina, Philippine's authority deputy manager for operations.

Over 30,000 spectators and athletics are expected to rock up to the beautiful Barcelona/Spain to compete in 28 different sports and see who are the fastest and strongest gays in the world.

The games are open to anyone, no matter their age, ability, sex or sex orientation - although the games are catering to a largely gay contingent, and will hopefully provide a lot of bulging lycra.

The four-day event kicked off with an opening ceremony last night. It was even more colourful and gay than your usual non-gay opening ceremony extravaganzas, so it was super-gay!
